DTech Academy is a free virtual technology education program dedicated to helping young people ages 10–16 develop practical technology skills, confidence, creativity, and problem-solving abilities. Our mission is to make technology education accessible, engaging, and inspiring for students regardless of their background or prior experience.

At DTech Academy, we believe that every child has the potential to become a creator, innovator, and leader in the digital world. Through interactive online classes, hands-on projects, and real-world learning experiences, students gain valuable skills that prepare them for future academic and career opportunities.

Our curriculum introduces students to computer fundamentals, digital citizenship, internet safety, Python programming, Linux, cybersecurity awareness, artificial intelligence concepts, and project-based learning. Students learn by doing, building projects that reinforce critical thinking, creativity, and technical skills.

DTech Academy was founded by Daniel Swaray, a technology professional, educator, and community leader who understands firsthand the transformative power of education. Growing up in Sierra Leone during a time of civil war and hardship, Daniel experienced significant challenges but discovered how education and technology could create new opportunities and change lives. DTech Academy was created to help young people develop the skills, confidence, and resilience needed to succeed in an increasingly technology-driven world.

Our classes are offered free of charge and are conducted virtually through Zoom, making learning accessible to students regardless of location. We strive to create a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive environment where students can explore technology, ask questions, collaborate with peers, and discover their potential.
